K Series Reducers
SEW K series reducers, known as helical-bevel gear units, are high-efficiency right-angle transmission devices and a flagship product of SEW-EURODRIVE. Integrating helical and bevel gear technology, they feature wear-free design, compact structure and excellent energy-saving performance, making them ideal for space-constrained industrial scenarios that demand high torque and stable operation.
The K series boasts remarkable versatility with 2-level and 3-level variants. It offers 16 specifications in total, covering torque ranges from 80Nm to 50,000Nm and supporting motor power of 0.12kW to 200kW via AM motor adapters. The 2-level models (K..19/29/39/49) feature over 90% transmission efficiency, with aluminum housings for K..19/29 ensuring lightweight and cast iron housings for K..39/49 enhancing sturdiness. Low-backlash variants are available for precision positioning needs.
Compliant with international standards such as ISO 9001 and GB/T 16474, the K series delivers high efficiency in both rotation directions and all speed ranges. Its robust construction includes high-quality oil seals and high-temperature resistant lubricants, minimizing maintenance requirements and extending service life. The 3-level models (K..37 to K..187) support ultra-low output speeds via double reducers, with a speed ratio range of 3.98 to 32,625.
Widely applied in logistics, metallurgy, mining, and material handling industries, it reliably drives conveyors, hoists, and lifting platforms. Supporting foot, flange (B5/B14), horizontal and vertical installation, it offers solid or hollow shaft options with keyway, shrink disk, or TorqLOC® connections.
