F Series Reducers
SEW F series reducers, professional parallel-shaft helical gear units, are high-performance transmission devices designed for industrial scenarios requiring compact layout and reliable operation. As a core product of SEW-EURODRIVE, this series integrates advanced helical gear technology, featuring high transmission efficiency, strong load-bearing capacity, and low noise, making it widely favored in general and hazardous industrial environments.
The F series boasts a modular and compact structure, perfectly adapting to installation spaces with limited horizontal room. It offers 2-level and 3-level transmission variants, covering 14 specifications with output torque ranging from 130Nm to 18,000Nm, and supporting motor power of 0.12kW to 200kW via standardized AM motor adapters. Low-backlash versions are available for precision positioning applications, ensuring stable torque output and accurate motion control.
Certified to EU ATEX directives (2014/34/EU) for explosive environments, the F series meets equipment group II, category 2 (II2GD) standards, along with international norms such as ISO 9001 and GB/T 16474. Constructed with robust cast iron housings (aluminum for small models), high-quality oil seals, and high-temperature resistant lubricants, it delivers excellent durability, dustproof and waterproof performance, and minimal maintenance needs.
Widely applied in chemical, logistics, food processing, and material handling industries, it reliably drives conveyors, mixers, pumps, and packaging machinery. Supporting foot, flange (B5/B14) installation, it offers solid or hollow shaft options with keyway, shrink disk, or TorqLOC® connections.
