At the heart of this technology is the high-contact ratio. With approximately 50% of the pins in contact at any given moment, the load is distributed evenly, minimizing surface pressure and maximizing shock load resistance. This allows the CYCLO® reducer to withstand impact shocks up to 500% of the rated torque, far exceeding the capabilities of standard helical or worm gear units. Furthermore, the design ensures backlash-free operation, providing precise positioning accuracy that is critical for automated machinery and robotics.

The series offers an extensive range of configurations to meet diverse industrial needs. Available in multiple frame sizes, it covers a wide power spectrum from fractional horsepower up to 150 kW, with output torque capacities reaching impressive levels. The reduction ratios are highly flexible, ranging from single-stage (9:1 to 87:1) to multi-stage combinations that achieve ratios as high as 7,569:1.
